honestly when i first saw that we where using
delicious i thought that it was a website for sharing recipes! and was a little confused about the fact that we had to use a recipe sharing webpage in our mpi class. needless to say i didn't voice my opinions at the time, and it payed off, as i didn't look like a complete fool. however i wasn't that far off the money, as you share bookmarks, not recipes on delicious. i like the concept of only having to have one set of bookmarks of any computer you use, but for my own use i don't really find it much of a help at the moment, as i don't subscribe to manny websites, and those that i do i just google the name/topic and then i don't have to worry about having to remember the URL. however that being said, i might find myself using it more often than i think now that i have an account.
flickr - number 1 thing to who created this website TAKE A SPELLING LEASON!!! its flicker! personally i think flickr's time has passed, it offers a lot less interaction than other social networking sites such as Facebook, where photo sharing is only a portion of what you can do. flickr holds no interest for me as i already use other social networking websites on which i already share my photos.
all in all i don't think i will use much of the info that i have learned today except for in this class.
